Located in the small Northern city of Safed Israel, Girls Town is known as “the school with a heart” because we care about things like making our girls feel loved.

At Girls Town Beit Chana Safed, we take in teenage girls from all sorts of backgrounds – some who face family troubles or learning difficulties; some whose parents are on government welfare programs, or some who come from struggling single parent homes; others who are new immigrants – and give them skills and emotional support they need to live productive lives.

We provide a loving, homelike environment in   our dorm where the girls have a room they share with others, just like they would with a sister. Every girl receives three, hot nutritious meals a day, and in their free time they can enjoy our beautiful grounds and recreational facilities. Our school offers these girls a wonderful, well-rounded education in both secular and Judaic studies. We employ teachers and specialists to help each student find her strengths and develop her natural abilities. We are determined to help every girl succeed. Thanks to you Girls Town is a place of refuge – a source of hope and new beginning for young Jewish girls who were victims of poverty, abuse, or traumatized by terror.
